Itinerary Overview

Day 1 | February 3 | Arrival in Cochin

Your journey begins in Cochin, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transported to your boutique hotel. Take a moment to settle in, sip on a refreshing coconut, and breathe in the fragrant air of South India. The rest of the day is yours to adjust, unwind, and perhaps explore a bit of this historic port city before gathering for a welcome dinner with your fellow adventurers.

Day 2 | February 4 | Discovering Cochin

Today, we step into Kerala’s past and present. We begin with a Kumbalangi Village Tour, an immersive experience of the daily lives of local fishermen and artisans. Enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch before heading to Fort Cochin, where colonial architecture, spice-scented streets, and the famed Chinese fishing nets transport us back in time. Wander through the Dutch Palace, the oldest European synagogue in India, and soak up the artistic pulse of this vibrant city.

Day 3 | February 5 | Cochin to Munnar (3.5-hour drive)

It’s time to trade the coast for the rolling hills of Munnar, where tea estates stretch as far as the eye can see. After a scenic drive, we’ll check into our charming hillside retreat before heading out to the Tea Museum, where we’ll trace the history of tea cultivation in India. Breathe in the crisp mountain air and savour a quiet evening among the misty hills.

Day 4 | February 6 | Trekking in Munnar

Wake up to the sight of mist-covered valleys and lace up your hiking boots for a morning trek in Letchmi Hills. This gentle yet invigorating walk through tea plantations and rolling meadows offers panoramic views that will take your breath away. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the resort—perhaps with a good book, a cup of fresh chai, or a well-earned nap.

Day 5 | February 7 | Munnar to Thekkady (2.5-hour drive)

This morning, we make our way to Thekkady, known for its lush spice plantations. A guided walk through fragrant cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon groves introduces us to the flavours that have shaped Kerala’s rich culinary traditions. Afterward, we unwind in the peaceful setting of our boutique retreat, where the air is thick with the scent of nature’s bounty.

Day 6 | February 8 | Wildlife & Wonder in Thekkady

Today, we embark on a Jungle Safari in Periyar National Park, where elephants roam freely, and birdsong fills the air. This lush sanctuary is home to tigers, bison, and countless other creatures, and we’ll have a chance to spot them in their natural habitat. The rest of the day is yours to relax, journal, or share stories with new friends.

Day 7 | February 9 | Thekkady to Marari (4.5-hour drive)

The journey continues as we head toward the Arabian Sea and the pristine beaches of Marari. Check into your beachfront resort, where the golden sands and swaying palms invite you to simply be. Spend the evening with your toes in the sand, watching the sun melt into the horizon.

Day 8 | February 10 | Coastal Bliss in Marari

Start the day with a guided nature walk, led by a local expert who will introduce us to Kerala’s coastal ecosystems. The rest of the day is yours—float in the sea, read under a palm tree, or indulge in an Ayurvedic spa treatment. There’s no rush here, just space to breathe and be.

Day 9 | February 11 | Marari to Kumarakom (1-hour drive)

This morning, we move toward Kumarakom, Kerala’s backwater paradise. After checking into a tranquil lakeside resort, we ease into the slower rhythm of life here. Spend the evening gazing at the still waters, enjoying the soothing call of nature.

Day 10 | February 12 | Houseboat Day Cruise

Today, we step aboard a traditional houseboat for a slow, meandering cruise through the famed Kerala backwaters. Drift past villages, coconut groves, and fishermen casting their nets, all while enjoying a freshly prepared Keralan meal on deck. This is the essence of Kerala—simple, soulful, and deeply peaceful.

Day 11 | February 13 | Rest & Reflection in Kumarakom

A free day to indulge in the beauty of Kumarakom. Perhaps you’ll book an Ayurvedic treatment, explore the village, or simply soak in the serenity of the backwaters. We gather for a farewell lunch, reminiscing over the friendships and memories we’ve created.

Day 12 | February 14 | Departure

With hearts full and souls recharged, we bid farewell to Kerala. A morning transfer will take us back to Cochin International Airport for our onward journeys, knowing we’ve experienced something truly special—together.
